Define the persona

Start in COMPOSE Guided mode. Work through audience, personality adjectives, tone boundaries, and response format. This becomes your canonical system prompt — the single source of truth for how your AI should sound.

Script sample dialogues

Open a conversation with your system prompt linked. Walk through the happy path first — a new user, a returning user, a frustrated user. Each conversation is saved as a design artifact you can reference and share.

Design the error paths

Create template variants for no-match, timeout, and ambiguous-input scenarios. Test each error path as its own conversation. Make sure the persona stays consistent when the user goes off-script.

Validate across target models

Run your core dialogues against every model your product might use in production. Flag where tone shifts or instructions degrade. Tighten the prompt for the weakest performer — if it works there, it works everywhere.
